    It is an assisted living facility for people ages 65 years and older. It is a residence specially designed for older persons, and it also offers an adult day care program.

    What is the difference between Senior Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing homes?

  • Senior Living is a residential community that encompasses a range of living options for older adults starting from fully independent and can offer one or a combination of living options.     At what age can I live at VACC?

    65 years and older. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for those younger but seeking admission while recovering from illness.

    Can I bring my own furnishings?

    All the rooms are fully furnished. However, you may bring small prized and personal pieces to personalize your room.

    Is smoking allowed?

    VACC is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and chewing tobacco are not allowed on the premises.

    What kind of activities and events are offered?

    We have a Calendar of daily activities and a Calendar of Special Events featuring various activities for different facets of older age living including, community, social, exercise and wellness, board games, Movie Nights etc.

    Can I bring a care provider or assistant to live with me at VACC?

    Not usually. VACC residents are attended to by a trained VACC team. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.

    Can I have overnight guests?

    Overnight guests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    How much does it cost to stay at the residence?
